Where to find dammon in act 3 - Baldur's Gate 3 is not always as clear as it should be in the placement of certain characters and tasks. For proof, look no further than Karlach's companion search.

He tasks you with finding a blacksmith who can repair his Infernal Engine, but initially doesn't tell you his exact location. As such, he is far from the first person to come ask us. where you can find Dammon in Baldur's Gate 3.

Locations Dammon Baldur's Gate 3

Dammon can be found in two places depending on how far away you are in Baldur's Gate 3

Screenshot from Twinfinite via Larian Studios, If you're still in Act 1 and haven't resolved the Druid vs Goblin conflict yet, you can find it in Druid Grove. From the entrance, head north until you reach the rocky area where the Tieflings are staying. Drop into the hole, then head to the area half covered with a blue tarp and three poles. It will be marked with a merchant icon just in case, and you can hover over it to confirm its name.

If you've already resolved the conflict, Dammon will have left with the other tiefling refugees and won't be available until Act 2. Once he reaches this point, he can be found in the Last Light Inn as long as he survives the encounter with the shadow and the Surviving Harpist can guide you there.

From the entrance and Waypoint, head north and look for the stable with an ox. Dammon will forge items, and you can confirm it's him by hovering over them again. Finding Karlach's companion also highlights his location and makes him easier to find.

Can you find Dammon in Act 3?

However, we should note that this may be the last time you can find Dammon alive and well in Baldur's Gate 3.

After Isobel is kidnapped by the invading force during the main story, almost everyone in the Last Light Inn is turned into shadow-corrupted undead. This includes Dammon, and he will not be accessible as a blacksmith for the rest of the game.

Keep that in mind and try to complete any deals you have with him before talking to Isobel to advance the main quest. In particular, he tries to give him two pieces of Infernal Iron so that he can repair Karlach's engine and solve that part of his mate's quest. If he doesn't immediately offer to use the second piece after you find it, take a long rest and then talk to him again.

We're currently testing whether or not he can be saved, and whether he appears in Act 3 as a result. Once we have a definitive answer, we will update this guide accordingly.
