How To Turn off the power of radar plates in Fortnite

There are 7 IO Base locations that can be visited to turn off the radar antennas during the week 14 mission in Fortnite. Players must find 2 radar plates to complete the task, but there is only 1 plate on each base. The challenge can be completed in multiple matches, so don't worry if an early elimination is accomplished before reaching the second location.

Each IO Base has a large and easily recognizable satellite dish. At the base of each one, there will be a visible blue glow. Stand next to it and press the corresponding button to turn off the satellite dish. Although the challenge can be completed in multiple matches, it is not too difficult to destroy 2 plates in a single match.

A great place to start is the IO Base located between Steamy Stacks and Craggy Cliffs, to the northeast of the map. Unless the Battle Bus starts near this location, it tends to be a quieter landing area. Not having to worry about enemy players is a huge advantage when trying to complete legendary missions to earn XP for the Fortnite Battle Pass.

After interacting with the blue glow under the satellite on the Base between Steamy Stacks and Craggy Cliffs, players must head west to the base located north of Pleasant Park. Using the fast IO car found in the base garage will make the trip go faster.

The walls in the second location cannot be destroyed, so find a door or build to enter the complex. The satellite dish is easily seen, and all players have to do is repeat the process of finding the blue glow underneath and interacting with it. Go back and use the IO Vehicle to get to the circle if the storm is approaching.
