Redeploy Drones in Warzone 2 - If you played the original Call of Duty: Warzone, you might remember the redeploy balloons that allowed players to fast travel from one point to another. The same gameplay feature was added to Warzone 2 Battle Royale and is now called Redploy Drones.

How do redeploy drones work in Warzone 2?

Available on the Al Mazrah and Ashika Island maps, Redeploy Drones launch players into the air, after which they can glide before hitting the ground. This makes traveling around the map much faster and easier. The redeploy mechanic can also be used in situations where you need to get out of a fight or escape shutdown gas.

Redeploy drones are marked with a pink drone icon on player tactical maps. If you see the legend of this map move, it means that the drone is not ready for use yet. Once it settles, approach the wire and interact with it to go up and then launch yourself into the air. Keep in mind that you are vulnerablely exposed while attached to the cable. Redeploy drones periodically automatically relocate to positions within the moving circle, eventually leaving the map during the late game.

 
Can you shoot down a Redeploy Drone?

Interestingly, the Redeploy Drones can be shot down if you just shoot them. This tactic can be used if you are hunting down enemies and don't want to leave any escape routes for them. However, keep in mind that you may also need the drones to relocate.
