Fortnite Overshield: How to use overshield in fortnite

Fortnite extra shield - Things have changed in Fortnite Season 3 Chapter 2, and one of the main changes comes in the form of the building deactivation. What is overshield fortnite

Overshield is essentially an additional layer of "shield" that all players start with at the start of a match.
It has been created to help players make adjustments to a Fortnite where building has been disabled.
Whether Overshield will remain in place once the building mechanic returns to the game remains to be seen. However, it seems likely that the additional health and protection of this amount would have been granted.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 on How Overshield Works

Your level of overprotection is indicated by a blue shield icon with a lightning bolt in the center right of your standard health and a shield in the bottom left corner of the screen. It's a paler blue and has a lightning effect around it, and we've circled it in the screenshot below.

Your Overshield has a maximum of 50 damage and runs out before you can take it. When you first take damage, it will be your superior shield that hits first, rather than your standard shield, or health if you haven't had any shields in the game yet. 

However, unlike his standard shield, if he stays out of harm's way long enough, his overshield will begin to recharge. Based on your time in the game so far, it looks like you're about 5 seconds away before your overshield starts to recharge.

The good news is that you don't have to search for any specific item that charges for your overprotection. Just find a cozy hiding place and wait until the shield fills up again.
