Zendaya Fortnite and Timothee Chalamet Fortnite with the new Dune skins fortnite

Zendaya fortnite -  These days, it's about a 50/50 currency swap as to whether a new show or movie will have a link to Fortnite. James Bond didn't do it for No Time to Die, but Dune? That's coming, according to a recent leak showing two skins from the film, next weekend.

The new leaks show skins for Paul Atreides and Chani coming to the store, along with various props from the movie like background props, mining tools, and gliders. It is not known if the giant sandworms could invade the map anytime soon.

Fortnite is in an interesting position where during these crossovers, it sometimes wears actual celebrity likenesses and other times it doesn't. Their superhero masks, for example, almost never look like the actors who play them in Marvel and DC movies or shows. But here these are heavily based on the actors playing the roles in Dune, Timothee Chalamet fortnite and Zendaya fortnite, and I think a lot of people might be more excited about the prospect of buying those celebrities than their Dune characters, necessarily. They look a lot like them.

This is starting to happen more and more lately. We just got a "Will Smith skin" in the form of a Mike Lowry Bad Boys crossover. We have an Ariana Grande skin from her concert. A Keanu John Wick skin. Rey and Finn from Star Wars, John Boyega and Daisey Ridley respectively. So yes, the list is growing. It raises questions about how image rights are handled, given that they are both characters, but also images of celebrities, and until we read the fine print of these agreements, it is unclear under what circumstances these actors or singers are receiving a cut from their versions of Fortnite. . Ariana Grande? Almost sure. But does Zendaya get anything from her when you buy Chani Dune skin from her? I'm not so sure.

Regardless, we'll only see more of this over time, and the Dune skins here are pretty cool (although I'd say I'd love a full line of “Zendaya at the Met Gala” skins). They look true to the movie and will be an instant buy for me because I love the book and I guess I'll love the movie because it's made by Denis Villeneuve and he just… doesn't do bad things.

It's unclear when these skins will be released, but certainly in the next few days before the film's release in theaters on HBO Max. Add these characters, or celebrities, to your collection, depending on how you look at them.
